Tennis instruction in the US runs from a certified teaching pro giving private lessons on a park court to full academies with fitness staff, boarding and tournament travel. Private lessons are priced per hour, semi-private and group clinics cost less per player, and most clubs run junior programs after school and adult drills in the evening. The USTA organizes the national rating (NTRP) and the adult and junior leagues most players join; the USPTA and PTR certify coaches. Summer camps take kids by the week or the day and usually include lunch and match play. Stadiums and event venues host college matches, USTA sanctioned tournaments and the occasional exhibition, with free or low-cost admission for most of them.

We went to see the Savannah Bananas play here. I understand needing a large stadium since they tend to sell-out where ever they go, but it was a little strange watching a baseball game being played on a football field. However, everything was well organized and it's location is a very nice area. I thought the layout of the seating was a little strange. Once you enter the tunnel and come out to the seats, there's no walkway to go around, you immediately walk up to your row. If you didn't prepay for parking you were given a list of places to park. Not being familiar with the area we picked the first place we saw that matched the list. It was a bit of a walk to the stadium. When we left we took a different exit thinking we would be able to walk around the outside like a lot of other stadiums, but we couldn't get around due to a building. Needless to say we got a little lost walking back to the car. I would recommend that you prepay for parking and know where it is beforehand. I guess I'm just used to larger stadiums, so it's nothing against this one.

I attended the Savannah Banana's baseball game yesterday. That was my first time going to Kenan Stadium. We parked in Craige parking deck. Surprisingly, it was not a far walk to the stadium (less than 10 minutes for someone who doesn't have mobility issues). I recommend parking at least 2 hours before before the dates open so you don't run into traffic before your game. I felt that the merchant tent could have been more organized. There were no big signs that told patrons where to enter. There was a mob of people in the tent and it was a little nerve wracking. Our seats were in the Pope box. I highly recommend paying extra to have a Pope box seat. The seats are padded, comfortable, and in the shade. I don't know if this is for every game, but our tickets in the Pope box came with all you could eat buffet, snacks, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. The bathroom was also one floor down and they were very clean. Again, this was in the Pope box. When leaving, be prepared to be stuck in traffic for a little while. I would go back to Kenan Stadium again!

I have seen several college football games here as well as a rock concert, Bruce Springsteen and the Savannah Bananas. Total chaos getting into and out of the venue and the town . Just be advised , it takes a lot of time and adds an hour plus on each side of the event.

Five stars all the way for an incredible experience at Kenan Stadium! Watching the Savannah Bananas bring their legendary Banana Ball to Chapel Hill was easily the highlight of our year. We spent the game enjoying the club level, and it made the entire night feel extra specialβthe amenities were fantastic, the view was unbeatable, and it gave us the perfect spot to truly have fun in the club atmosphere while soaking in the chaos on the field. The energy of the crowd combined with the non-stop entertainment, dancing, and hilarious antics of the players made for a night of pure joy. Kenan Stadium provided the perfect backdrop for such a high-energy event, and we canβt wait to do it all over again!

The event was amazing but the stadium is not wheelchair friendly at all. They need to upgrade accessibility along with the system for process tickets for wheelchair users. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly but the stadium itself is not ada friendly.
